AARP Safe Driver CourseDue to COVID-19 restrictions, AARP Safe Driver Courses have been postponed at Sibley - when things open up, you will be able to join an AARP Driver Safety Instructor and brush up on your driving skills in the AARP’s Driver Safety Program. Get a discount on your auto insurance too (check with your insurer)! The class will focus on the effects of aging on driving and how to adjust appropriately. Contact Joe Ryan for the next available date by calling 202-362-0704. Classes will be held in the Renaissance Building, Conference Room 2. Registration is required.
Please Note: The six hour class is for people who have not taken the AARP Smart Driver Course before. The four-hour class is a refresher for people who have already taken the 6-hour AARP Smart Driver Course class. Anyone is welcome to take the 6 hour course.
Registration: Contact Joe Ryan at 202-362-0704. The Sibley Senior Association does not take registrations for this class. Participants must call Bob Reed directly. Please bring a pen or pencil to class and arrive 15 minutes early to sign-in.
Cost: $15 for AARP members; $20 for non-members, due before the class. Make check payable to AARP. To receive the AARP rate, bring your membership card to class.
